Google Partners With Levis to create a Jacket

Google has always been an outstanding technological entity in the tech division for as long as we can remember. After buying over the Android operating system software, the next big thing being promoted by Google was the Levis Smart-jacket also known as "the Jacquard."

The Jacquard, as its name suggests, is a denim jacket designed by Levis with smart technology woven into its fabric. According to (Statt, 2017) the Jacquard division pioneered conductive fibers that are woven directly into clothing, so that motions you make on the left cuff of the jacket’s sleeve register as touch inputs, as if it were a screen. This applies only for a smartphone using the Bluetooth.

This is done by the use of touch sensors or haptic feedback right within the materials themselves. A double tap with two fingers, for example, starts or stops music.
