Master Card Created Finger Print Sensors on Credit Card

Master Card introduces their newest feature for their Credit Card, a biometric fingerprint sensor on the card, that will substitute the traditional way of making credit card purchases. The card comprises of a chip and the biometric sensor. The sensor scans the fingerprint of the user in order to validate the user's identity, then sends this information to the chip, which then authorizes the purchase if the user matches the bank account information.
As stated by (Smith, 2017), Master Card's chief of safety, Ajay Bhalla, said that the fingerprint technology would help "to deliver additional convenience and security. It is not something that can be taken or replicated."

This new feature, however, is just an alternative way as opposed to the traditional entering pin code way credit card users are familiar with.

However, it is considered to be more convenient and secure since ur finger print is a very unique feature that hackers or credit cards thieves can alter.

  1. Awesome! This is a great security feature. However, scammers would still find some way to bypass it in the near future.
